For as long as I can remember, traditional detergents left my skin irritated and my head pounding from those heavy, artificial fragrances. I love fresh, light scents and just wanted a clean, simple solution—but it wasn’t out there. So, in 2020, straight out of college, I took matters into my own hands.

Armed with a blender and a room full of ingredients, I set out to create a laundry detergent that was tough on stains, gentle on skin, and made with scents from pure essential oils. After tons of mixing (and maybe a few messes at my parents' house), I finally perfected a formula that worked. Since then, it’s been my mission to make laundry safer, healthier, and a whole lot better.

Today, Blur Laundry is making waves, but there’s so much more to come—and we’d love for you to join us on this journey to cleaner, healthier laundry.

From a Room to the Assembly Line

Traditional detergents come loaded with synthetic scents and harsh chemicals that often do more harm than good. Blur Laundry was founded on a simple but powerful belief: truly clean laundry doesn’t need to compromise our health or the planet. We set out to create an effective, plant-based detergent that could lift stains, refresh fabrics, and leave behind nothing but a subtle, natural scent.
